Get your devices working on ResNet

Help Desk is happy to announce that you can now register gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Wii, DS, etc.) as well as handheld devices such as iPhone and iPod touch. Registering these devices allows you to bypass Cisco Clean Access and access the Internet and online gaming directly.

To register your device or console, please bring it into Help Desk during our normal operating hours. Make sure to bring a controller and all necessary cables for gaming consoles.

Backup, backup, backup

Remember to backup important files such as Senior Theses. Floppy disks, CDs, DVDs, and even hard drives can fail. Dragon, however, is a backed up every evening and is guaranteed not to lose your files.

WoodFrames Equipped With Reset Switches

ITS is pleased to announce that all woodframe houses have been equipped with remote reset switches for their cable modems.

Using The Switch

The cable modem is connected to device #1. To reset your modem, simply press device #1 off; wait up to 3 minutes; and turn device #1 back on.

Please do not adjust the red dial since it is confiugred to communicate with your house's cable modem. Adjusting this setting will prevent the switch from working.

Extended hours

Helpdesk's hours have been extended for the next two days. Our new hours are:
Sunday, September 3: 9 am to 5 pm
Monday, September 4: 9 am to 10 pm.

Semester Hours

Mon - Thur: 10 AM - 10 PM
Fri: 10 AM - 5 PM
Sun: 7 PM - 10 PM

Summer & Break Hours

Mon - Fri: 9 AM - 5 PM
